Well, I've been busy updating this blog. I love the back ground, it makes me feel colder as if should, ITS WINTER! I do like having change.
I have finished Eclipse. It is so good. I just continue to love how she writes and how I still am captivated in these books. I am exited that the second movie will have a different director. I just think the first one should have been so much better.
Songs. . . I need to explain because there all over the place. Angry Johnny, I was a senior in high school and would wake-up to MTV on the TV, Angry Johnny was always on to wake me. I loved the song even though its about killing someone. I never knew why I liked the song, but now I believe its because of the guy I was with then. To this day I like it though. Leave Out All The Rest, wow. . . well, I think that everyone feels this way. I have found out this past yr that I have people that don't really like me, that feel that I have done things wrong to them. This was never my intent and I apologize. I would like to have them come to me and tell me these things, but I understand why they would not, I don't do that. Just some things that I need to work on and I hope and pray these people will think of the good that I have done and "Leave Out All The Rest". Its Your Love, this is David and my song, we danced to this at our wedding reception that was just picked out for us which suits us. The rest are just good songs. So now you know what is behind in my thinking.

New book
Yes, school is back in for me, so I read a chapter and do my work and then I can read, read a whole book. I just finished New Moon. It was so good and I enjoyed it. I find myself getting involved. I just do not want to put it down. I cannot understand where shes taking you at times still, it confuses me. David had me read it to him one night. I was thinking he was interested, but no, he needed to hear my voice to go to sleep. I will be going tomorrow with a couple of other women to see Twilight. An afternoon without the kids would be nice, but first I should finish my lab work for Biology. . .

Book reviews
Since I didn't have text books to read for a bit I decided to read other books, books I could enjoy. Some ladies from the ward have a book club and this month they read "The Christmas Jar". This book was good and gave me an idea of what we can do as a family this next yr. I need to have Bre finish the pickles soon. This book made me cry and just puts things that I would like to do.
Another one that I got is called Naked Once More by Elizabeth Peters. I got this one from the library because my mom has me addicted to one of Elizabeth Peters series called The Amilia Peabody Series. I usually just listen to that series while on the long trip to AZ, but I wanted to read it. None were in so I picked Naked Once More. It was really good. I love the humor and I told David I wish I could come up with some of the things that Jacqueline Kirby (the character) would say. I just found out that that's a series too.
The latest book that I just got done with (in 1 and half days) is Twilight. This book I could not put down. I stayed up until 2:11a.m. to finish it. It was really good read and I cannot wait to read the next one. I don't want to start with it until I see the movie. I have a friend that has seen it already twice and said she would like to go with me to see it this week. I love the way that she is so detailed about things, but there are times that she looses me and I have no idea what shes trying to tell.
Well, now I have Biology to read, so I will mix it up. Biology is interesting too. The first chapter is about if scientists can cure the common cold.

Its cold
Usually we do not get ice, snow, ext. until after the new yr, but this yr I guess it decided to do its own thing (who would have thought) and its freaking cold out peoples. The high today will be 28 and the for the whole week I think 38 degrees. The cars were frozen and I took 15 minutes to get the ice off. I got the kids to school to find out that the schools were closed until 10a. Great, so I let the kids play while I started cleaning up the living room and doing laundry. I found out that Rockwall ISD is closed, dang it. We're just a short distance from Rockwall, but noooo we won't close. I feel for the kids.
So, I dropped off the kids at school, drove over a bridge (that was fun, luckily no one was around), dropped off a library book, dropped off a movie, drove back over the bridge, and to come home to throw away Christmas lights that were outside on the ground. What happened was on my birthday David had to go out with some friends from work because one of them is leaving to Houston. I was on the phone with him and all of a sudden I started hearing noises up by the house and then lots of popping and then the Christmas lights went out. David said to stay on the phone with him and not to go outside. December was barking like crazy and came to sit next to me until David got home. The next day we noticed that our Christmas lights are broken. PUNKS!! Also, I just noticed that our mail box is broken on one side. So I finally, in this great weather that we are having, went to pick up the strand and broken glass. "Its the most wonderful time of the year. . .".

christmas shopping
Christmas shopping is usually done by now, but noooo, we're still shopping. We're now done with the kids so I just have David. He's hard to shop for though. Do I have toooooo. (I'm whinning) We went out today with KC with us and cannot believe how people are just rude and . . . they just are bugging me. Cutting into line in the store and in traffic, language, and stilling things from your hands. Goodness. So I think I will stick on getting these things done before Thanksgiving for now on.
We had our pizza/movie night tonight because last night was a ward concert. We watched Prince Caspian, Narnia. It was ok, not as good as the first Narnia. Slowwww. So now I'm doing this while David watches his Ultimate Fighter Final and now I'm getting off of this and getting some sleep. Nighty-Night

32 and proud of it
So its another day, but I'm one yr older, 32. I remember when I was young and thinking that people were old (exept for my aunt Melodie because she makes ages look young) when they became older than 30, so I'm there and I don't feel old. My life isn't ending, my body is not breaking down, and I'm smarter. So there younger me!!

Christmas partiesss
K, I love Christmas, but whats up with all the partiesss. So many to go to, one even on my b-day. (we're not going) This past Friday was our pizza/movie night, usually I do not answer the phone, but I did. I found out the kids needed to be to a primary breakfast with Santa. We have missed a couple of sunday's, but not that much. So we got up and went. Usually David and I drop off the kids and leave, but I want to see Santa too. Donuts, a game, songs, and then. . .
He was good. went to the parents after wards and said what the kids wanted, just in case parents think they need that or not. Santa has a good memory. So KC would like a whole shlu of nerf guns, Kaylea would like a laptop and cell phone as well as Bre. Can I say "umm, heck no". Santa had them go back to him and ask for something mean oh mom will aprove of. Santa cannot be the bad guy.

Thanksgiving

We had a great visit from my parents. My dad and I got to spend a little one-on-one which I enjoyed. We went to the JFK momorial 6th floor thingy. That was interesting. We read and learned different things. I hope he enjoyed it. Mom made me feel bad, but its my bad. With school, church callings, and just everything that is going on I tryed cleaning up as much as I could. The clothes were stacking up, the bathrooms didn't get cleaned, and our room has all the boxes of scrapbooking and craft stuff. My mom did all my laundry and helped a lot. Thanks mom. But then I feel like a loser for not being to keep up with things. David is good and just says that its fine, but I hate not being able to keep up. Makes me feel yucky. Any who, on Tuesday we had my birthday and Christmas with my parents. I still had to go to my classes, but after that we decrated the tree (the kids and David, I took pics), and then opened presents. David got his early, a grill, I got the wii fit (so awsome!!), the girls got boots, and KC got a remote control motorcycle. We got my parents another web cam and a 8x10 picture that has eachone of the grandchildren and in the center there is a pic of all four together. YESSS! I made her cry!! That means she likes it.
Weds. we left for Uncle Gene and Aunt Kathy's, this is my dads brother. We spent Thankgiving with family which is so nice. I do love getting together, hearing laughter and hearing stories. I do love going to Gene and Kathy's, they are such sweet people and so fun too. There was my cousins along with their families, Grandpa Lindberg with Sheri, my aunt Lucy and her husband Ernie. My dad, aunt Lucy, mom, and I did go see my grandfather Billy Bertram in the nursing home. That was hard. I don't know him very well, I've visited with his a couple of times before, but not much. He has no memory of things. What touched me though, and I hope dad doesn't mind telling this, when we were leaving, mom and Lucy left the room so it was just grandpa Billy, dad, and I. Dad was saying goodbye and Billy took he hand, Dad said "I love you dad" and Billy said "I love you too". Dad left right away. I was saying goodbye and I said it was good to see him again, he took my hand and did not want to let go. He held my hand for a time and then he said "thank you". Hard stuff.
We all had fun having Thanksgiving with family. Dad says he would love to move to TX, but it would have to be by Gene. I do love seeing my dad smile and having a good time around his family that he doesn't get to see very much. I do know that he misses them and loves them so. My dad is the sweetest person, I call him a big teddy bear. He's a quiet man, but we learn so much from him and all the good he does for my brothers and I. I know that my mom and he would give up everything for us. I love them so much and miss that I'm not around them, to help them with things, but I know that our place is here in Texas, so barn it you two, move here!! he,he,he
K, so this is not everything that happened and this is already long so I'm going to write a list of events; kickball games, visit from grandma Lindberg's sister, turkey rubbing, fart machine, men chasing birds in a garage, kids dancing, and LOT of laughter. I think that I have missed some things, but all and all, families are great. Love yas!
